Lake Texoma- (with 580 miles of shoreline bordered by two states, camping, water sports, boating, fishing, golf, and dining. Over 5 million visitors each year.)
Vinita- The classic Italianate Victorian home of local hero T. V. Munson. Located near the campus of Grayson County College and the T.V. Munson Viticulture Center the home is open to the public and has been lovingly restored to the period when the Munson family resided in Denison. Munson was credited for saving the French root-stock from deadly bacteria by experimenting with his own vineyard of 300 varietals here in Denison. His discovery earned him recognition by the French government and set the stage for Denison and Cognac France to become sister cities. Munson’s varieties of root stock are still grown in this area and Denison is home to one of the best vintner’s schools in America.
Hagerman Wildlife Refuge- Located on Lake Texoma the refuge has over 11,000 acres of habitat for 208+ species of migratory waterfowl and other birds. Perfect for a family nature excursion or photo safari.

Grayson County Frontier Village- Located in Loy Lake Park and offers a glance into the life of early Denisonians. Over 20 homes and buildings have been restored to their original designs with furnishings and memorabilia from the 1800s.
Perrin Air Force Base Museum- Museum dedicated to the preservation and the history of Perrin Army Airfield and Perrin Air Force Base in Grayson County
T.V. Munson Viticulture and Enology Center- One of three viticulture and enology schools in the US teaching students and professional vintners the fine art of growing grapes and making wine.
North Texas Regional Airport- A full service facility featuring a 9000 foot lighted runway, control tower, instrument landing system, and fuel and repair center.
